01Public vote
The public ballot requests an email address and ZIP code. The email is converted to a one-way technical fingerprint to prevent duplicate voting; the raw email address is not stored in the public-vote database. The three ballot answers, ZIP code and submission time are retained for ballot administration.
02Member portal
The member portal uses Supabase to process account email, legal name, applicant-submitted residence address, residency self-certification, email-verification and review status, administrator decisions and member ballots. Email verification opens only an application-status screen; protected member features remain locked until approval. The website does not send the address to an automated address-validation provider. An authorized administrator individually reviews the application and may request supporting residency information by email when needed. The website does not accept identity-document uploads. Applicants should cover account numbers and unrelated sensitive details on any supporting document they choose to provide. This information is retained for membership administration, eligibility, fraud prevention and security.
03Optional email updates
A voter, member applicant or other visitor receives project-marketing email only after actively choosing the optional update preference and confirming the separate email request. Voting, applying for membership or entering an email address does not by itself enroll anyone. The update system stores the email address, consent source and time, confirmation status and delivery identifiers needed to manage the preference. Confirmed addresses are added to a restricted Resend contact segment and topic for official updates. Every marketing update includes an unsubscribe option. Resend processes delivery, bounce, complaint and unsubscribe information; the project does not sell the update list.
04Optional phone and browser alerts
A visitor receives push notifications only after selecting the phone-alert option and approving the browser or device permission request. No phone number is collected for web push. OneSignal processes a device- and browser-specific subscription identifier, permission and delivery information needed to send and measure alerts. The choice is separate from voting, membership, purchases, donations and email updates. A subscriber may turn alerts off on the updates page or in the device's notification settings.
06Analytics
When analytics is activated, Google Analytics may collect device, referral and interaction information using cookies or similar technologies. No advertising profile is intentionally created from public-vote selections.
